How It Works

GoBloom handles your website build end-to-end. Here's exactly what happens — before, during, and after your site launches.

What you'll need before you start

You don't need everything perfect — but having these ready makes the process faster.

  • A domain name

    Purchase your domain from any registrar — Namecheap, Cloudflare, GoDaddy, or similar. We'll handle all DNS configuration once you point it to us. The domain is yours to keep forever.

  • A Gmail / Google account

    We use it to transfer ownership of your Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and Google Tag Manager accounts directly to you. These are yours — not locked inside a GoBloom account.

  • Reference websites you like

    2–4 sites whose look, feel, or tone you want to draw from. This is the single most useful input for our design process. No brief, no domain, and no copy is more important than this.

  • A logo file optional

    If you have a logo, send it as an SVG or high-res PNG. If you don't have one yet, your business name will appear as text in the logo area — you can swap it in later via the CMS.

  • Brand colours optional

    Hex codes or Pantone references if you have them. If not, we'll suggest a colour scheme based on your reference sites — you can specify exact colours during your revision round.

The process, step by step

Choose your plan and pay

Select Bloom Starter, Pro, or Custom on the pricing page and pay the one-time build fee via Stripe. That's all you need to do to get started — no calls, no quotes, no back-and-forth.

The monthly hosting fee ($39/month) doesn't start until your second month after launch. Your first month is included in the build fee.

Submit your onboarding brief

After payment, you'll receive a link to our onboarding form. It takes about 10 minutes to complete. You'll tell us about your business, the pages you need, the sites you like, and anything specific you want included.

You have 60 days from payment to submit your brief. If you need more time, let us know before the deadline.

Important: Specify all pages you need in this brief. If your plan includes 5 pages and you provide direction for 4, we'll build 4. Additional pages can be added after launch via the CMS, or quoted separately.

We build your design

Once we have your brief, we get to work. Our process combines AI-generated copy with human design judgment. We write the content based on your brief, design the site, and prepare it for your review.

Timelines from receipt of complete brief:

  • Bloom Starter — 7 business days
  • Bloom Pro — 10 business days
  • Bloom Custom — 15 business days

Delays caused by incomplete briefs or slow client responses don't count against these timelines.

Review the design and request revisions

We share the design for your review. This is when you review everything — layout, copy, images, and colours. Each plan includes a fixed number of revision rounds:

  • Bloom Starter — 1 revision round
  • Bloom Pro — 2 revision rounds
  • Bloom Custom — 3 revision rounds

A revision round is one consolidated set of feedback — not individual change requests spread over time. Collect everything you want to change and send it in one go. Revision rounds must be used before launch.

Once you approve the design, it gets built and launched as-is. You can update all content yourself after launch via the CMS, but structural design changes post-launch are quoted separately.

Launch

Once you've approved the design, we build and launch. We handle DNS configuration, SSL, analytics setup, and go-live. If you're using a new domain, DNS propagation typically takes a few hours.

On launch day, you'll receive access to your GoBloom CMS — your dashboard for managing content, raising support requests, and accessing your Google accounts.

Managing your site after launch

From month two, you pay $39/month. This covers:

  • Hosting on Cloudflare infrastructure
  • CMS access — update any content yourself
  • SSL and DNS management
  • Analytics setup and access
  • Support desk — raise requests directly through the CMS, no email chains

The support desk is for post-launch content and configuration requests. Work that requires new pages, features, or significant design changes is quoted separately — always transparently before we start.

We communicate exclusively through the support desk after launch. We don't provide support via email, WhatsApp, or social media.

We're also building: AI content creation tools, automated SEO improvements, and smarter site management features. All included in the $39/month as they roll out.

If you ever want to leave

Cancel anytime by emailing support@gobloom.me. Your site goes offline at the end of the billing period.

We'll provide a full content export and the built static site files for 30 days after cancellation. You own the site's design and code — you can host it elsewhere. What you lose is CMS access (that stays with GoBloom) and any future feature updates.

You're never locked in. But most clients find the $39/month is worth it.
